Baseeta Spoken Arabic app for iPhone and iPad

This app gives you access to our weekly updates for Baseeta Further Learning. This is designed for people who have taken the Baseeta Foundation Arabic course, or who have a basic handle of spoken arabic and would like to practice reading and listening to spoken arabic.

People who learn arabic often find that it is impossible to read anything, as written arabic does not correspond to what is spoken on the streets, or that simply the material is not available.

The app allows you to listen to the episodes online, and also read through the transcript, where you can also find definition for new words.

The episodes use simplified, slow-paced spoken arabic voice narration coupled with the ability to read arabic written in latin letters. This is a unique approach which is severly lacking in other methods, which focus on the ability to read arabic letters.
